CATS MAKE WONDERFUL PETS

 If you want a pet, but don't feel you have the time to commit to a dog, a cat would make a wonderful pet.  A cat can be left alone for a couple of days as long as you give them enough food and water to last until you return.  Since they use a litter box they don't have to be walked.  They are very amusing and easy to entertain.  If you choose carefully, you will have an affectionate cat that likes to cuddle.  Some are bit standoffish and will come to you only on their terms.  I've had experience with both.  Either way they are amazing to watch because they all have their own different personalities.

If you do decide to get a cat, consider adopting one from your local humane society.  There are so many out there that are in need of homes.  You can find adult cats, already neutered or spayed, or kittens.
